We process personal data in accordance with the Moldovan Law no. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation 2016/679).

2. What we collect, and why

a. When you contact us

If you write to us (e.g. via hello@sentrix.md or by submitting a prompt that you then send through your own email client) we receive your email address, name (if provided), the content of your message and any attachments.

• Purpose: reply to your inquiry, scope a possible engagement, and keep a record of the conversation.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries about our services, and pre-contractual measures at your request.
• Retention: up to 24 months after the last contact, unless an engagement starts (see below).

b. When we work with you (clients and prospects)

For engagements we process contact and contractual data of the client and its representatives: name, role, email, phone, company identification, billing details, signed agreements, invoices and project communication.

• Purpose: deliver the agreed services, invoice and account, and meet our legal obligations.
• Legal basis: performance of a contract; legal obligation (accounting, tax); legitimate interest in defending claims.
• Retention: for the duration of the engagement and up to 10 years afterwards for accounting and statutory records, where required by law.

c. When we are processor for a client

When we operate, host or maintain systems on behalf of a client, we may be exposed to personal data of the client's end users. In those cases we act as a processor: we process the data only on documented instructions from the client, under a separate data processing agreement.

d. Website usage data

sentrix.md is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider may automatically log technical request data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, response status) for security, anti-abuse and performance purposes. We do not currently use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.

• Purpose: keep the site online, secure and fast.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site.
• Retention: as defined by Cloudflare's standard log retention.

3. Cookies

This website does not set tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The only data stored in your browser is what your browser itself caches for performance. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

4. Who we share data with

• Hosting / infrastructure: Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and security), and other infrastructure providers used in client engagements as documented in the relevant contracts.
• Email: our email provider, used to receive and respond to your messages.
• Professional advisors: accountants, auditors and lawyers, bound by professional confidentiality.
• Public authorities: when required by law, court order or to defend our legal rights.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers operate outside the Republic of Moldova, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where applicable, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) or are made on the basis of adequacy decisions or recognized derogations.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data: encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access to contact mailboxes, hardened devices, password managers, principle of least privilege, and timely software updates. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required by law.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (Moldova Law 133/2011 and, where relevant, GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Have your data deleted, where the legal basis no longer applies
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the legal basis (without affecting prior processing)
• Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Moldova, the National Center for Personal Data Protection (datepersonale.md); in the EU, your local data protection authority

To exercise these rights, write to hello@sentrix.md. We will respond within the time limits set by applicable law (typically 30 days).

8. Children

This website and our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our practices evolve or as the law requires. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes we will take additional steps to inform you where appropriate.
